The Lake Howell Silverhawks basketball squad (Winter Park, FL), lost 73-53 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Gateway Panthers (Kissimmee, FL)

With the victory, Gateway advances its record to 13-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to North Miami (North Miami, FL) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league contest on Monday, December 29. The Pioneers come into the contest with a record of 7-1. North Miami won 49-38 in their recent non-league contest against North Miami Beach (North Miami Beach, FL)

In their next game, the Silverhawks battle the Zephyrhills Christian Academy Warriors (Zephyrhills, FL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 20. Lake Howell will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 12-7 record after their 54-50 league win over Jordan Christian Prep (Auburndale, FL).
