December 18, 2025: St. Amant, LA 70774 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA) and the host St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA), saw Lafayette's soccer squad prevail over St. Amant by a count of 4-0.
The Lions (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Walker (Walker, LA). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Walker by Baton Rouge (Baton Rouge, LA), 4-1, in a non-league match.
The Gators now sport a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Captain Shreve for a non-league match on Friday, December 19. St. Amant will meet a Gators team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bossier (Bossier City, LA). The Gators record now stands at 3-6.
