New York High School Basketball - Lafayette edges Global Concepts
December 19, 2015: Lackawanna, NY 14218 The Lafayette Violets (Buffalo, NY) basketball nipped the host Global Concepts GATOR (Lackawanna, NY), 79-76 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Violets (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca (Buffalo, NY). The go into the Section 6 Buffalo II test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca was tipped by International Prep at Grover (Buffalo, NY), 55-46, in a league test.
The GATOR now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Oracle Charter for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 22. Global Concepts will encounter a Phoenix squad coming off a 52-44 non-league win over Akron (Akron, NY). The Phoenix record now stands at 1-6.
