Minnesota High School Basketball - Academy of Holy Angels nudges Washburn
December 19, 2022: Richfield, MN 55423 Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Washburn Millers (Minneapolis, MN), 73-72 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Academy of Holy Angels upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Stars travel to DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN) to clash with the Islanders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Islanders go into the bout with a record of 4-2.
Next up, the Millers clash with the Hiawatha Collegiate (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Washburn will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 76-69 non-league loss to St. Paul Central (St. Paul, MN).
