December 19, 2022: Grove City, OH 43123 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Watterson Eagles (Columbus, OH) and the host Grove City Greyhounds (Grove City, OH), saw Bishop Watterson's basketball squad knock off Grove City by a count of 59-45.
With the victory, Bishop Watterson upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Worthington Kilbourne (Columbus, OH) to play the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 21. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Worthington Kilbourne lost 61-53 in their recent league challenge against Big Walnut (Sunbury, OH)
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Franklin Heights Falcons (Columbus, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Grove City will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 46-34 league loss to Dublin Scioto (Dublin, OH).
