December 19, 2022: Leon, KS 67074 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Flinthills Mustangs (Rosalia, KS) and the host Bluestem Lions (Leon, KS), saw Flinthills's basketball squad knock off Bluestem by a tally of 70-57.
With the victory, Flinthills improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Classical (Wichita, KS) to play the Saints in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Classical won 73-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Cunningham (Cunningham, KS)
Next up, the Lions play the West Elk Patriots (Howard, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Bluestem will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 62-59 non-league win over Fredonia (Fredonia, KS).
