Michigan High School Basketball - Brethren knocked off by Morley Stanwood
December 19, 2022: Brethren, MI 49619 The Morley Stanwood Mohawks basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Brethren Bobcats to 49 in the Mohawks non-league triumph on Monday.
The Mohawks now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beal City for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 21. Morley Stanwood will meet a Aggies team coming off a 57-49 league loss to Roscommon (Roscommon, MI). The Aggies record now stands at 3-1.
The Bobcats (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Onekama (Onekama, MI). The Portagers enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Onekama ran past Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI), 55-50, in a league contest.
