Arizona High School Basketball - Buchtel edges Centennial
December 19, 2022: Peoria, AZ 85381 The Buchtel Griffins (Akron, OH) basketball nipped the host Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ), 57-51 in Monday's non-league test.
The Griffins (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Santa Margarita got by Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV), 63-33, in a non-league test.
The Coyotes now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mojave for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. Centennial will encounter a Rattlers squad coming off a 63-33 non-league loss to Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Rattlers record now stands at 5-3.
