Michigan High School Basketball - Climax-Scotts can't hold off Decatur
December 19, 2022: Climax, MI 49034 The Decatur Raiders basketball team scored 37 points and held the host Climax-Scotts Panthers to 32 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Monday.
The Raiders now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mendon for a Southwest 10 contest on Tuesday, December 20. Decatur will battle a Hornets team coming off a 56-40 league loss to White Pigeon (White Pigeon, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 2-2.
The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Colon (Colon, MI). The Magi enter the Southern Central contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Colon nudged St. Philip Catholic Central (Battle Creek, MI), 56-55, in a league contest.
