Iowa High School Basketball - Dunkerton crushes Columbus
December 19, 2022: Dunkerton, IA 50626 Dunkerton Raiders (Dunkerton, IA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA), 98-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Dunkerton upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA) to play the Dons in a Iowa Star bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Dons come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Don Bosco lost 98-75 in their recent non-league bout against Jesup (Jesup, IA)
Next up, the Sailors play the Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougars (Sumner, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - East bout, on Friday, January 6. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 54-48 non-league loss to Tripoli (Tripoli, IA).
