Hillcrest Trojans (Riverside, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cypress Bay Lightning (Weston, FL), 67-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hillcrest upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Trojans travel to Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA) to clash with the Saints in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Crean Lutheran won 71-42 in their recent non-league bout against Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Lightning clash with the Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Cypress Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Desert Shields go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 71-42 non-league loss to Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA).
