The Piedmont Hills Pirates basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Del Mar Dons to 50 in the Pirates non-league victory on Monday.

The Pirates now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Everett Alvarez for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 21. Piedmont Hills will battle a Eagles team coming off a 66-64 non-league loss to Seaside (Seaside, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.

The Dons (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Silver Creek (San Jose, CA). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Silver Creek was nudged by Carlmont (Belmont, CA), 53-47, in a non-league contest.
