December 19, 2022: Jericho, VT 05465 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT) and the visiting Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT), saw Mt. Mansfield's basketball squad overcome Hartford by a tally of 44-36.
With the victory, Mt. Mansfield improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT) to confront the Green Knights in a Metro challenge on Wednesday, December 21. The Green Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Rice Memorial lost 65-60 in their recent league challenge against St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT)
Next up, the Hurricanes confront the Windsor Yellowjackets (Windsor, VT) in a Southern Vermont - B challenge, on Friday, January 20. Hartford will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
