December 19, 2022: Miami, FL 33142 The Varela Vipers (Miami, FL) basketball crushed the host Jackson Generals (Miami, FL), 71-43 in Monday's non-league test.
The Vipers (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Hialeah-Miami Lakes (Hialeah, FL). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Hialeah-Miami Lakes was trounced by Miami Springs (Miami Springs, FL), 56-49, in a league test.
The Generals now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Miami Springs for a 4A District 15 contest on Wednesday, December 21. Jackson will battle a Golden Hawks team coming off a 56-49 league win over Hialeah-Miami Lakes (Hialeah, FL). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 4-5.
