Texas High School Basketball - Tolar nips Lake Worth
December 19, 2022: Lake Worth, TX 76135 Tolar Rattlers (Tolar, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lake Worth Bullfrogs (Lake Worth, TX), 41-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Tolar upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Rattlers host Ranger (Ranger, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Region II District 11 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Ranger lost 58-26 in their recent league bout against Hico (Hico, TX)
Next up, the Bullfrogs play the Venus Bulldogs (Venus, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Lake Worth will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 85-51 league loss to Alvarado (Alvarado, TX).
