Layton Christian Academy Eagles (Layton, UT) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA), 70-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Layton Christian Academy upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Upper St. Clair won 66-31 in their recent non-league bout against Bethel Park (Bethel Park, PA)

Next up, the Aztecs play the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Montgomery will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Mountain Lions go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 52-41 non-league win over Cimarron-Memorial (Las Vegas, NV).
