Texas High School Basketball - Midland Christian nips Tascosa
December 19, 2022: Amarillo, TX 79102 Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Tascosa Rebels (Amarillo, TX), 40-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Midland Christian upgrades its record to 12-11 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 2. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Frenship won 100-96 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity Christian (Lubbock, TX)
Next up, the Rebels play the Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 21. Tascosa will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Matadors go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 71-53 non-league win over Shallowater (Shallowater, TX).
