December 19, 2022: Gallup, NM 87301 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM) and the visiting Thoreau Hawks (Thoreau, NM), saw Miyamura's basketball squad wallop Thoreau by a tally of 70-40.
With the victory, Miyamura improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Grants (Grants, NM) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 3-5. Grants lost 48-36 in their recent non-league battle against Magdalena (Magdalena, NM)
The Hawks (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Laguna Acoma (New Laguna, NM). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Laguna Acoma trounced Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM), 48-27, in a non-league battle.
