Utah High School Basketball - Water Canyon overwhelms Monument Valley

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Water Canyon Wildcats (Hildale, UT) and the visiting Monument Valley Cougars (Monument Valley, UT), saw Water Canyon's basketball squad wallop Monument Valley by a tally of 68-41.

With the victory, Water Canyon improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bryce Valley (Tropic, UT) to confront the Mustangs in a 1A Region 20 challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Santa Fe Indian Braves (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 27. Monument Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 44-33 non-league loss to Silver (Silver City, NM).
