The Mount Ayr Raiders basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Worth County Tigers to 41 in the Raiders non-league victory on Monday.

The Raiders now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nodaway Valley for a Pride of Iowa contest on Tuesday, December 20. Mount Ayr will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 60-56 non-league loss to Atlantic (Atlantic, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-5.

The Tigers (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Stanberry (Stanberry, MO). The Bulldogs go into the Grand River bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Stanberry overwhelmed North Harrison (Eagleville, MO), 57-43, in a league bout.
