Pawnee City Indians (Pawnee City, NE) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wetmore Cardinals (Wetmore, KS), 47-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pawnee City upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Indians host Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE) to play the Indians in a D1 District 1 bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Weeping Water lost 70-29 in their recent non-league bout against Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Centralia Panthers (Centralia, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Wetmore will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 62-27 league win over Washington County (Washington, KS).
