The Comets now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gardner-South Wilmington for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 21. Reed-Custer will battle a Panthers team coming off a 40-39 league win over Grant Park (Grant Park, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 7-5.
The Bobcats (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Sandwich trounced LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL), 55-49, in a league battle.
