The Taft Toreadors basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting San Marcos Royals to 51 in the Toreadors non-league triumph on Monday.

The Toreadors now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bullard for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Taft will battle a Knights team coming off a 49-40 non-league win over Indio (Indio, CA). The Knights record now stands at 8-3.
