Louisiana High School Basketball - Bolton nips New Iberia
December 19, 2022: Alexandria, LA 71301 Bolton Bears (Alexandria, LA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA), 43-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bolton upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Oakdale (Oakdale, LA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Oakdale lost 53-51 in their recent non-league bout against Oberlin (Oberlin, LA)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. New Iberia will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 50-28 non-league win over West St. John (Edgard, LA).
