Ohio High School Basketball - Cardinal Stritch ripped by Gibsonburg
December 19, 2022: Gibsonburg, OH 43431 The Gibsonburg Golden Bears basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Cardinal Stritch Cardinals to 20 in the Golden Bears non-league triumph on Monday.
The Golden Bears now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Joseph Central Catholic for a Sandusky Bay - River contest on Thursday, December 22. Gibsonburg will battle a Crimson Streaks team coming off a 53-40 league win over Danbury (Lakeside, OH). The Crimson Streaks record now stands at 3-2.
The Cardinals (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Maumee Valley Country Day (Toledo, OH). The Hawks enter the Toledo Area contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Maumee Valley Country Day triumphed over Continental (Continental, OH), 40-38, in a non-league contest.
