Clear Creek Wildcats (League City, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX), 41-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Clear Creek upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Texas City (Texas City, TX) to play the Stingarees in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Stingarees go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Texas City lost 59-22 in their recent league bout against Manvel (Manvel, TX)

Next up, the Mavericks play the Benjamin Davis Falcons (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Morton Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 62-30 league loss to Spring (Spring, TX).
