South Dakota High School Basketball - St. Mary nips Colman-Egan
December 19, 2022: Dell Rapids, SD 57022 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD) and the visiting Colman-Egan C-E Hawks (Colman, SD), saw St. Mary's basketball squad hold off Colman-Egan by a count of 46-44.
With the victory, St. Mary upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD) to play the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Waverly/South Shore lost 61-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD)
Next up, the C-E Hawks play the Howard Tigers (Howard, SD) in a B Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Colman-Egan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 55-44 non-league win over Freeman (Freeman, SD).
