Georgia High School Basketball - Fitzgerald ripped by Deerfield-Windsor
December 19, 2022: Albany, GA 31707 The Deerfield-Windsor Knights basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane to 34 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.
The Knights now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monroe for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Deerfield-Windsor will meet a Golden Tornadoes team coming off a 75-54 non-league win over Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 5-3.
The Purple Hurricane (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Westwood (Camilla, GA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Westwood was routed by Worth County (Sylvester, GA), 43-37, in a non-league contest.
