Walton Warriors (Walton, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Downsville Central Eagles (Downsville, NY), 54-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Walton upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Warriors host Unatego (Otego, NY) to clash with the Spartans in a Section 4 Midstate bout on Thursday, December 22. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Unatego won 31-24 in their recent league bout against Delaware Academy (Delhi, NY)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats (Bainbridge, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Downsville Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
