Illinois High School Basketball - Schurz nips Rickover Naval
December 19, 2022: Chicago, IL 60634 Schurz Bulldogs (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Rickover Naval Seadragons (Chicago, IL), 23-19 in a league bout.
With the win, Schurz upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Clark (Chicago, IL) to play the Eagles in a bout on Thursday, December 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Seadragons play the Mather Rangers (Chicago, IL) in a bout, on Thursday, January 12. Rickover Naval will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Rangers go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 31-19 league win over Prosser (Chicago, IL).
