The Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Pinecrest Glades Academy Dragons to 29 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Monday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Somerset Academy Silver Palms for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10.

The Dragons (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mater Academy Bay (Cutler Bay, FL). The Rays enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
