Alma Cardinals (Alma, NE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Superior Wildcats (Superior, NE), 52-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Alma upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Medicine Valley lost 53-44 in their recent league bout against Wallace (Wallace, NE)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Superior will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Haymakers come into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 46-40 non-league win over Ainsworth (Ainsworth, NE).
