California High School Basketball - Samueli Academy nips Anaheim Discovery Christian
December 19, 2023: Anaheim, CA 92805 Samueli Academy Firewolves (Santa Ana, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Anaheim Discovery Christian Magi (Anaheim, CA), 62-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Samueli Academy upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Firewolves travel to Acaciawood (Anaheim, CA) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Acaciawood won 46-36 in their recent non-league bout against Glenn (Norwalk, CA)
Next up, the Magi play the Bethel Baptist Warriors (Santa Ana, CA) in a Express bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Anaheim Discovery Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 50-19 league loss to Acaciawood (Anaheim, CA).
