Mississippi High School Basketball - Baldwyn tops Hamilton
December 19, 2023: Hamilton, MS 39746 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Baldwyn Bearcats (Baldwyn, MS) and the host Hamilton Lions (Hamilton, MS), saw Baldwyn's basketball squad knock off Hamilton by a count of 60-46.
With the victory, Baldwyn upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Biggersville (Corinth, MS) to play the Lions in a 1A Region 1 challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Biggersville won 75-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Alcorn Central (Glen, MS)
Next up, the Lions play the Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 21. Hamilton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 68-51 non-league win over Hatley (Amory, MS).
