Delaware High School Basketball - Caravel nips Tatnall
December 19, 2023: Bear, DE 19701 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE) and the visiting Tatnall Hornets (Wilmington, DE), saw Caravel's basketball squad hold off Tatnall by a count of 63-59.
With the victory, Caravel upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Smyrna (Smyrna, DE) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Smyrna won 56-44 in their recent league challenge against Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE)
Next up, the Hornets play the Delcastle Technical Cougars (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Tatnall will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
