Michigan High School Basketball - Chelsea tops Western
December 19, 2023: Parma, MI 49269 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Chelsea Bulldogs (Chelsea, MI) and the host Western Panthers (Parma, MI), saw Chelsea's basketball squad knock off Western by a tally of 56-40.
With the victory, Chelsea improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Dexter (Dexter, MI) to play the Dreadnaughts in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22. The Dreadnaughts come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Dexter lost 59-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI)
Next up, the Panthers play the Coldwater Cardinals (Coldwater, MI) in a Interstate Eight challenge, on Thursday, December 21. Western will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 57-47 non-league loss to Portage Northern (Portage, MI).
