New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Cleveland Clippers (Cleveland, MN), 71-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, New Ulm Cathedral upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman (Granada, MN) to play the Jaguars in a A Section 2 bout on Thursday, December 21. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman lost 61-49 in their recent league bout against Madelia (Madelia, MN)

Next up, the Clippers play the Immanuel Lutheran Trojans (Mankato, MN) in a A Section 2 bout, on Thursday, December 21. Cleveland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 69-47 league loss to Loyola/Kato (Mankato, MN).
