Oregon High School Basketball - Crater crushes Yreka
December 19, 2023: Central Point, OR 97502 Crater Comets (Central Point, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA), 76-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Crater upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Comets travel to McNary (Keizer, OR) to play the Celtics in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Celtics go into the bout with a record of 5-2. McNary lost 55-47 in their recent non-league bout against Centennial (Gresham, OR)
Next up, the Miners play the Ashland Grizzlies (Ashland, OR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Yreka will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 64-54 non-league loss to Roseburg (Roseburg, OR).
