Michigan High School Basketball - Paw Paw can't hold off Dowagiac
December 19, 2023: Paw Paw, MI 49079 The Dowagiac Chieftains basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Paw Paw Red Wolves to 49 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Chieftains now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coloma for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Dowagiac will battle a Comets team coming off a 52-29 non-league loss to South Haven (South Haven, MI). The Comets record now stands at 1-5.
The Red Wolves (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Niles (Niles, MI). The Vikings come into the Wolverine B contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Niles edged North Lawndale (Chicago, IL), 49-41, in a non-league contest.
