The Martin County Cardinals basketball team scored 81 points and held the host Hug Hawks to 68 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monsignor Scanlan for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Martin County will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 69-64 non-league win over Gresham (Gresham, OR). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-3.

The Hawks (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Provo (Provo, UT). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Provo ran past Buckley (Sherman Oaks, CA), 59-38, in a non-league contest.
