December 19, 2023: Maypearl, TX 76064 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Maypearl Panthers (Maypearl, TX) and the visiting Itasca Wampus Cats (Itasca, TX), saw Maypearl's basketball squad wallop Itasca by a tally of 62-34.
With the victory, Maypearl improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Kountze (Kountze, TX) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 15-3. Kountze won 71-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA)
Next up, the Wampus Cats confront the Glen Rose Tigers (Glen Rose, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Itasca will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 60-53 non-league loss to Godley (Godley, TX).
