Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) and the host Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC), saw South Mecklenburg's basketball squad hold off Mooresville by a tally of 90-89.

With the victory, South Mecklenburg improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Sabres host Clover (Clover, SC) to confront the Blue Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Blue Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Clover won 77-42 in their recent non-league challenge against York (York, SC)

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Mooresville will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record.
