Louisiana High School Basketball - Sulphur trounces Northside Christian
December 19, 2023: Sulphur, LA 70663 The Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Northside Christian Warriors (Crowley, LA), 72-27 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Golden Tors (8-5) will now prepare for their test against East Chambers (Winnie, TX). The Buccaneers go into the non-league test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, East Chambers was trounced by Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA), 59-48, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Episcopal of Acadiana for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Northside Christian will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 56-40 non-league loss to Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 9-3.
