Missouri High School Basketball - Truman holds off Raytown South
December 19, 2023: Independence, MO 64055 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Truman Patriots (Independence, MO) and the visiting Raytown South Cardinals (Raytown, MO), saw Truman's basketball squad hold off Raytown South by a tally of 73-72.
With the victory, Truman improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO) to confront the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Rock Bridge lost 67-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Olathe West (Olathe, KS)
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Lee's Summit North Broncos (Lee's Summit, MO) in a Freelance challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Raytown South will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 48-39 league win over Park Hill South (Riverside, MO).
