Nebraska High School Basketball - Tri County overwhelms Sacred Heart
December 19, 2023: DeWitt, NE 68341 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Tri County Trojans (DeWitt, NE) and the visiting Sacred Heart Irish (Falls City, NE), saw Tri County's basketball squad wallop Sacred Heart by a tally of 63-26.
With the victory, Tri County improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Exeter-Milligan/Friend (Exeter, NE) to play the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Exeter-Milligan/Friend won 60-29 in their recent non-league challenge against East Butler (Brainard, NE)
Next up, the Irish play the Elmwood-Murdock Knights (Murdock, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 22. Sacred Heart will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 39-31 non-league win over Syracuse (Syracuse, NE).
