Illinois High School Basketball - Webber crushes Sesser-Valier
December 19, 2023: Sesser, IL 62884 Webber Trojans (Bluford, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Sesser-Valier Red Devils (Sesser, IL), 66-35 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Webber upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Edwards County (Albion, IL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 6-6. Edwards County won 67-41 in their recent non-league bout against Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine (Oblong, IL)
Next up, the Red Devils play the Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes (Zeigler, IL) in a Black Diamond - West bout, on Thursday, December 21. Sesser-Valier will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Tornadoes come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 54-53 league win over Trico (Campbell Hill, IL).
