Kansas High School Basketball - Wamego can't hold off St. Marys
December 19, 2023: Wamego, KS 66547 The St. Marys Bears basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Wamego Red Raiders to 42 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wabaunsee for a Mid-East contest on Friday, January 5. St. Marys will battle a Chargers team coming off a 71-52 non-league loss to Axtell (Axtell, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 1-4.
The Red Raiders (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Concordia (Concordia, KS). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 4-2 record.
