Georgia High School Basketball - Heard County tops Bowdon
December 19, 2023: Franklin, GA 30217 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) and the visiting Bowdon Red Devils (Bowdon, GA), saw Heard County's basketball squad knock off Bowdon by a count of 52-34.
With the victory, Heard County upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Braves travel to LaGrange (LaGrange, GA) to play the Grangers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22. The Grangers come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. LaGrange lost 88-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Lamar County (Barnesville, GA)
Next up, the Red Devils play the Atlanta Classical Academy Cavaliers (Atlanta, GA) in a A D2 Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Bowdon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
