Alabama High School Basketball - Mountain Brook trounces Briarwood Christian
December 19, 2023: Birmingham, AL 35223 The Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Briarwood Christian Lions (Birmingham, AL), 67-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Cullman (Cullman, AL). The Bearcats go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Cullman was trounced by Thompson (Alabaster, AL), 62-48, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Opelika for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Briarwood Christian will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 46-40 non-league loss to Eufaula (Eufaula, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-7.
