December 19, 2023: Bayville, NJ 08721 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southern Regional Rams (Manahawkin, NJ) and the host Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ), saw Southern Regional's basketball squad wallop Central Regional by a count of 54-31.
With the victory, Southern Regional upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Rams host Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ) to play the Mustangs in a Shore A - South challenge on Thursday, December 21. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Brick Memorial won 46-25 in their recent league challenge against Toms River North (Toms River, NJ)
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Central Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Scarlet Fliers come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 71-38 non-league win over Freehold Boro (Freehold, NJ).
